This is a state of the art Car audio player.It is equipped with a built-in amplifer which makes it sound really good,the bass is very solid even my old speakers seems new.It can instantly recognized all connected external devices eg,ipod,a usb stick or any other mp3 player connected to its aux output.It comes with a remote controller, and the display can be adjust from bright to dull.Overall i will rate this product as a five star, especially for it superb sound quality.I am very pleased with this product.I will therefore give it a 5 star for sound quality,5 star for style,5 star for the price as it cost more from both Halfords & Argos,5 star for the quality and of cause a 5 star for connectivity as i can control the Kenwood KDC-W4644UY Car audio system with my ipod. Now i don't even have to carry a whole bundle of cds as i can either down load songs on a usb stick, connect my 20Gb Samsung napster mp3 player or just hooked up my 8GB ipod nano in the ubs port, the result is one fantastic rich sound. If you are looking to replace or upgrade your old Car audio player, i will recomend this player not just for as it great sound quality,but because it can be use with all usb and blue tooth devices.This my friends,this makes it a "STATE OF THE ART AUDIO PLAYER".Get one if you can.

The radio, once installed, provided all of the features described. The ipod/USB connection is excellent, but it does take some time in learning how to find, change tracks etc. Quality and volume is very good. Overall very good value for money.
Great product but incompatible with Iphone update July 5, 2010

I am generally very happy with this product. I have not explored its capabilities fully but I predominantly bought it so that I could connect my iphone to the stereo and play my itunes music through it. This feature is great as it enables you to control your iphone/ipod from the stereo itself or you have the option to control the iphone manually. However since upgrading my iphone to the new 4.0 software, I have no longer be able to do this. I am not blaming Kenwood which is why I have still given the product four stars as the sound quality is also great but be warned. I am hoping that if I restore my iphone to its original settings that this will solve the problem, or Apple could eventually rectify the problem with another software update, fingers crossed!
